ABILENE, Texas — A man is accused of threatening to “shoot up” a north Abilene Walmart.
Around 7 p.m. Friday, police responded to an armed subject call at the Walmart on Hwy 351.
Multiple witnesses said Ari Joseph Siu Lancelotta, 42, was in the store yelling that he was going to “shoot up the place.”
When officers arrived, they found Lancelotta in the parking lot.
A victim told police he was worried that Lancelotta had a weapon and was going to start shooting people.
Police said Lancelotta admitted to making the threat.
He was charged with terroristic threat cause for fear of imminent bodily injury.
Lancelotta was released the next day on $2,500 bond.
