Shooting on East Lancaster Street sends one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Fort Worth, TX – According to the police officials, the fatal shooting occurred around 11:09 p.m. late Monday night.

It happened in the 5400 block of East Lancaster Street.

Fort Worth Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

Officers at the scene discovered a male who had been shot twice in the abdomen, according to the police. He was sent to a hospital, and it is not thought that his wounds are life-threatening.

The unidentified guy informed police that two individuals approached him while he was standing on the sidewalk.

When one of the criminals brought out a pistol and shot the victim, the victim informed police. The two suspects fled the scene of the shooting, he informed authorities.

The two suspects, who are still at large, were not given a description by the police. 

This incident remains under investigation.
