ABILENE, TX — Noble Robinson scored seven of his 11 total points in the fourth quarter, leading a group of three double-digit scorers, as Frenship defeated Haltom 60-53 in a Class 6A area round game at Abilene Wylie High School.
With the victory, the Tigers (27-8) are scheduled to play Arlington Bowie in the regional quarterfinal round. A time, date and location were not available for the contest.
Donovan Smith and Devin Hartfield each scored 10 points for Frenship, which went 10-for-11 from the free-throw line.
Paul Bizimana finished with a game-high 26 points for the Buffaloes in the loss.

SNYDER — Braden Stone led the Bulldog’s with 14 points in their 46-38 triumph over Hawley in the Area Championship.
Cameron Tekell recorded 12 points for Tahoka. Tristen Stice also contributed six points.
The Bulldogs advance to the Regional Quarterfinals to face Wink with a time, date, and location to be determined.

LEVELLAND — Cambrie Heiman had a game-high 20 points, and Amy Schilderink added 12 points, as Nazareth defeated Ropes in a Class 1A regional semifinal game at the Texan Dome.
Megan Moore and Maggie Anderson each had 15 points for the Eagles in the loss.
Nazareth (21-6) is scheduled to play New Home (29-4) at 2 p.m. Saturday at the same venue.

LEVELLAND — McKenzie Johnston led all scorers with 17 points to help the Lady Leopards down Claude and advance to the program’s first-ever regional final.
Kelby Baccus chipped in 13 points as the other player to finish in double figures for New Home (31-4), which held a 22-17 lead at halftime.
Maddox Scoggins scored 10 points to lead Claude offensively in the loss.
New Home is scheduled to take on perennial state power Nazareth at 2 p.m. Saturday.
