Wolfforth Frenship I (297) holds a 20-stroke lead over the Rebels.
Abilene High and Frenship II are tied for third (324) in a tournament where the top two teams advance to the Region I-6A Tournament after Tuesday’s second and final round.
Lee’s Fred Poe, playing as a medalist, is in fourth after firing a 74. Lee I’s Kellen Young is in fifth (76), six strokes behind medalist leader Jacob Wright, of Abilene High I, who carded a 70.
Lee I’s Jackson Comer is tied for eighth after shooting a 78.
Alec Young posted Midland High’s best score with an 80, which is tied for 10th.
The top two individual golfers not on a qualifying team also advance to the regional tournament.
Midland High is in a tie for eighth (374).
