ABILENE, TX— The Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District confirmed the 399th COVID-19-related death in Taylor County Thursday.
The patient was a woman in her 80s. No further patient information was released.
According to the health district, there were five new confirmed COVID-19 cases – all antigen.
There were 11 hospitalizations included in the report.
There were four recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 14,941.
Taylor County has administered 55,463 PCR and 96,702 antigen tests, which resulted in 7,159 PCR and 8,328 antigen confirmed cases.
The release included 48,304 negative PCR and 88,374 negative antigen test results.
