ABILENE, Texas — According to the police officials, preliminary investigations show all of the victims likely ingested a controlled substance in a pill form, which was not prescribed by a licensed physician or filled through a pharmacy, which may have contributed to their deaths.
It’s still unknown if these deaths are directly related to the consumption of the said controlled substance or because of other causes.
Abilene Police Department officer said members of the community that have come into possession of any controlled substance not prescribed by a licensed physician or filled through a pharmacy, should not consume the substances.
