Abilene, TX – According to the statement, the BBQ is free for all active duty, reserve, national guard, DoD civilians and their families.
Officials have reported that I.D. is required.
The serving times will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m..
The event will take place at the Abilene Convention Center.
The barbecue is planned, prepared, executed, served, and paid for by members of the Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee.
The Military Family of the Year Award will be presented in a special ceremony at 12:30 p.m.
