ABILENE, TX – Matthew Christopher Marquez, 37, killed one person and shot and stabbed multiple others.
He is in custody and is being charged with one count of murder and two counts of aggravated assault for the incident that happened at a home on the 200 block of Miss Ellie Lane on Thursday night.
Marquez is accused of shooting and killing 53-year-old Samuel Shawn Berry, shooting a 43-year-old female, and stabbing a 32-year-old male during a domestic disturbance.
Two victims that survived the attack are recovering at the Abilene hospital and in stable conditions.
Reportedly, all of them were living in the same household and investigators are working to find out the cause for the domestic dispute.
