Abilene, TX – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. Monday, June 14
Officers responded to a call reporting a deceased female inside one of the apartments at the South Abilene Apartment Complex.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found a 68-year-old woman inside the apartment.
Her name is Judi Jones and she was deceased from apparent trauma.
Authorities arrested Joel Rakesh Laundre Thomas in connection with his grandmother’s murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
