ABILENE, TX— Abilene police released the name of the man who was hit and killed on S. 1st Street.
Police said Larry Gale Hickey, 57, of Abilene, was crossing S. 1st around 10:15 p.m. Saturday when he was hit by a Mitsubishi Galant.
According to police, Hickey was wearing dark clothing which made it difficult for the driver to see him.
The driver was not charged.
