ABILENE, TX — Abilene police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run after a body was found in the middle of S. Treadaway Blvd.
A passing motorist called police around 6 a.m. about a man lying in the road near S. 32nd Street.
When police arrived, they determined the man was dead.
The victim’s age is unknown at this time.
Police said the deadly hit and run occurred overnight.
The road was closed in both directions for several hours.
Police said they do not have a vehicle description at this time.
