ABILENE, TX — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed the 199th COVID-19-related death – a woman in her 80s with pre-existing health conditions – in Taylor County Wednesday.,
The health district reported 185 new confirmed COVID-19 cases – 69 PCR and 116 antigen.
There were 101 recoveries also reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 8,681.
One-hundred-thirty-eight total hospitalizations were included in the report.
Taylor County has administered 41,080 PCR and 52,244 antigen tests. Of those tests, 4,979 PCR and 6,126 antigen tests were confirmed cases.
Additionally, 36,101 negative PCR and 46,118 antigen test results reported.
