Abilene-Taylor Public Health District confirms two additional COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor Co.

ABILENE, TX — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed two additional COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County Wednesday.

The patients were a woman in her 70s and a man in his 70s.  No other information about the patients was available at the time of the release.

The health district reported 78 new confirmed COVID-19 cases – 30  PCR and 48 antigen.

There were also 186 recoveries reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 11,438.

Seventy-five hospitalizations were included in the report.

There have been 50,193 PCR and 66,364 antigen tests administered in Taylor County. Of those tests, 6,463 PCR and 7,640 antigen tests were confirmed cases.

Additionally, there were 43,730 negative PCR and 58,724 negative antigen test results reported.
