ABILENE, TX — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed the 205th COVID-19-related death – a man in his 60s with pre-existing health conditions – in Taylor County Sunday.
Saturday’s cases included 24 PCR and 42 antigen. Sunday’s cases included 54 PCR and 16 antigen.
There were 8,973 recoveries reported Saturday and 52 recoveries reported Sunday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 9,025.
There were 264 total hospitalizations reported – 125 for Saturday and 139 for Sunday
As of Jan. 3, Taylor County has administered 41,309 PCR and 54,279 antigen tests, of which, 5,115 PCR and 6,250 antigen tests were confirmed cases.
