ABILENE, TX — A man was found dead following a structure fire on Peach Street in Abilene on Thursday morning.
Abilene Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 1600 block of Peach Street just after 5 a.m. on Thursday.
Upon extinguishing the fire, the victim was pronounced deceased by the Taylor County Justice of the Peace.
The body was sent to Tarrant County Examiners for an autopsy. His identity has not been revealed.
An investigation is currently underway.
