Matthew Kent is the editor of MDMH Abilene. Matthew has been in journalism for more than a decade and began working at MDMH Abilene in 2017 after being a writer and associate producer at a local TV station. Matthew Kent loves to laugh. In his free time, he enjoys snowboarding, photography, fishing, and watching football.

Anette Romero
Writer
Anette joined MDMH Abilene in the summer of 2018 as a news reporter. She completed the BCIT Broadcast Journalism program in 2019. She has worked as a news reporter in Abilene since 2016, and her topics of interest include education, municipal politics, and crime.

Brianna Washington
Reporter
Brianna has been a reporter with MDMH Abilene since 2017. Born and raised in Abilene, Brianna’s journalism career has taken her through the state, with each job opportunity bringing her closer to Abilene and the other local areas. In her spare time, Brianna enjoys hiking, sports, dancing and cooking.

Christopher Duncan
Local reporter
After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from York University and Post-Graduate Certificate in Journalism from Seneca College, Christopher moved to Abilene where he was a reporter at MDMH Abilene, telling the stories of the town’s people.
