ABILENE, TX – Tyler Legacy’s Kah’Lil Montague is a state champion.
The senior won the superheavyweight class in Division 1 at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association state meet Saturday in Abilene.
Montague finished with a total of 1,885 pounds (750 squat, 585 bench, 550 deadlift) to defeat Cleburne’s Josh Rangel, who finished with a total of 1,800 pounds (760 squat, 435 bench, 605 deadlift).
