AUSTIN, TX — One person is dead following a rollover crash in Southwest Austin late Friday night.
It happened in the 8100 block of Hwy 290 near the 71 split.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, medics found a vehicle rolled over with two people pinned underneath.
Emergency crews worked to free both people, but one was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second person was transported to South Austin Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
