ABILENE, TX — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed the 286th COVID-19-related death – a woman in her 80s – in Taylor County Thursday.
The health district also reported 71 new confirmed COVID-19 cases – 40 PCR and 31 antigen.
There were 138 recoveries reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 12,444.
The report included 52 hospitalizations.
There have been 50,714 PCR and 69,819 antigen tests administered in Taylor County, of which, 6,737 PCR and 7,864 antigen tests were confirmed cases.
