ABILENE, Texas — The ISD program in Abilene helps families by providing clothes and school supplies, and now is asking for the community’s help.
The Hartford Center is helping those in need, and most of the supplies given are donations. They accept we accept lightly used clothing, new clothing, kids clothing, for all ages. As the temperatures drop, they are behind on winter clothing, sweats and jeans.
They are also taking monetary donations and gift cards, so they could purchase specific stuff for the kids.
It is of crucial to send the kids to school immediately, so it is nice if they have school supplies and clothing ready for them when they arrive.
If you want to donate, you can contact Darrin Cox with Abilene ISD. The address for the Hartford Center is 5340 Hartford Street and is open 7AM-4PM Monday through Friday.
