ABILENE, TX – The 19th Annual Top Gun Sporting Clay Classic benefiting the West Texas Rehab Center is back for 2021 after being postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic shutdown. As this fun sporting clays classic event returns, sign ups are required well in advance of the April 8th, 9th and 10th, 2021 date.
This is the largest and most popular clay shoot in all of West Texas and has been for the past 19 years. Since the pandemic shutdown and the postponement of the Top Gun Sporting Clay Classic volunteers are in high demand. The schedule for the ‘Top Gun Sporting Clay Classic’ is:
- Thursday April 8th, 4 PM “Make-A-Break” opens, 5:30 PM crawfish dinner
- Friday April 9th, 11 AM “Make-A-Break” opens, 11:30 lunch and 1 PM first rotation, 3 PM second rotation
- Saturday, April 10th, 7:30 AM registration, 8:30 AM one open rotation per course, 11:30 AM lunch, 3 PM one open rotation per course, 6 PM drinks, dinner, auctions open and wards presentation.
Besides the fun clay shoot there will also be a live and silent auction with several door prizes. This event takes place at the Abilene Clay Sports South Range which is located at 1102 Beltway South Abilene, TX.
