ABILENE, Texas — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District reported one COVID death and 103 new cases (49 PCR, 54 antigen) on Monday.
The person who died was a main his his 80s with with preexisting conditions.
At least 175 people have died from COVID in Taylor County.
There were also 78 recoveries.
The number of active cases is 2,461 with 106 of those in the hospital.
That was the second straight day the COVID hospital capacity was below 15%.
If it stays below 15% through Friday, restrictions such as bar closures and reduced restaurant capacity would be lifted.
