ABILENE, TX — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed two additional COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County Sunday, bringing the total number of COVID-19-related deaths to 174.
The patients were a man in his 70s with pre-existing health conditions and a man in his 50s with pre-existing health conditions.
The health district also reported 95 new confirmed COVID-19 cases – 65 PCR and 31 antigen.
Seventy-one recoveries were also reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 7,694.
One-hundred total hospitalizations were included in the report.
As of Dec. 20, Taylor County has administered 37,043 PCR and 48,413 antigen tests, of which, 4,625 PCR and 5,676 antigen tests were confirmed cases.
There were 32,418 negative PCR and 42,737 negative antigen test results reported.
