ABILENE, TX – United Supermarket on Wednesday made a donation of $1,871.55 to Good Samaritan Ministries through its Scan Tag promotion, which replaced the Super Bowl of Caring this year. “Instead of doing the Super Bowl of Caring we just raised money through the registers,” said United Store Director Lynn Day. “When they checked out, the good citizens of Brownwood are so giving every year and they donated toward Good Samaritan.”
