CISCO, TX— A Cisco man has been arrested for possession of child pornography.
According to police, the Abilene Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division and the Cisco Police Department executed a search warrant Thursday resulting in the arrest of Sergio Nunez, 23, at his home .
The Abilene Police SWAT Team entered the house where multiple individuals were detained and questioned about the offense.
After the search, Nunez was arrested and transported to the Eastland County Jail where he was booked.
Numerous computers, cell phones and other devices were confiscated as well items of drug paraphernalia.
“This is just another step taken toward protecting the children of our communities,” Chief Preston said.
Police say other charges may be filed once the devices have been forensically analyzed.
