Abilene Mayor Anthony Williams released the following statement:
“This really is an opportune time for us all to review our COVID-19 vaccination status, and either vaccinate for the first time, or make sure we’re up-to-date on our boosters.
While Hendrick works to alert us to an increase in COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations, let’s also remember our kids are about to return to school.
Vaccination and taking the safety precautions appropriate for your family will help keep our entire community as healthy as possible this fall,” said Williams.
