Brownwood, TX – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 12 a.m. Friday.
The man was crossing the street in the 1500 block of Coggin.
He was struck by a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The case is still under investigation but it does not appear that any alcohol or distracted driving was involved.
It appears to be a tragic accident.
No charges are pending at this time.
