ABILENE, TX — The Abilene Police Department’s Cyber Crimes Unit and the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division arrested Bryan Edwards, 41, at a home in the 6300 block of Live Oak Trail in south Abilene.
According to an APD news release, detectives executed a search-and-arrest warrant Wednesday and Edwards was taken into custody during the operation.
Edwards has been charged with state jail felony possession and promotion of lewd visual material depicting a child, as well as accused of having lewd pictures of a young girl.
Edwards was transported to the Taylor County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing and no other information was available at the time of the press release.
