ABILENE, TX— The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed the 247th COVID-19-related death – a woman in her 80s with pre-existing health conditions – in Taylor County Wednesday.
The health district also reported 114 new confirmed COVID-19 cases – 44 PCR and 70 antigen.
There were 122 recoveries were reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 10,641.
One-hundred-twenty hospitalizations were included in the report.
Taylor County has administered 45,258 PCR and 62,403 antigen tests. Of those tests, 6,143 PCR and 7,317 antigen tests were confirmed cases.
Additionally, 39,115 negative PCR and 55,086 negative antigen tests were reported.
