ABILENE, TX— The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed three additional COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County Saturday.
The patients were two men in their 70s and a woman in her 70s. No further information was available about the patients at the time of the release.
The new deaths bring the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County to 388.
The health district reported eight new confirmed COVID-19 cases – seven PCR and one antigen.
Eighteen recoveries were also reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 14,817.
Nine hospitalizations were included in the report.
Taylor County has administered 55,324 PCR and 90,179 antigen tests. Of those tests, 7,126 PCR and 8,254 antigen tests were confirmed cases.
There were 48,198 negative PCR and 81,925 negative antigen test results reported.
