HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION

Leaving the scene of an accident is a crime, but sadly statistics indicate that approximately 11 percent of all crashes involve a hit-and-run driver.

Bond said in that cases such as this, it’s imperative to have an independent investigation conducted by a seasoned attorney in a timely manner to better preserve evidence.

“Having the proper resources is extremely important in order to investigate a hit-and-run accident case and prove negligence,” she added.

“Road conditions, signage visibility, and road lighting are all possible contributing factors that are considered and must thoroughly be examined. These procedures are necessary for helping a victim receive the justice and monetary compensation that they deserve. Serving as an advocate, an attorney can be a resource and help compassionately guide a victim during this difficult time.”

TEXAS PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEY

Pending the results of the investigation, Ashley Davis may have the right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit. Andrew Wright, of counsel with Bond Sanchez-Gordon, noted that the stress and worry following a serious injury can be overwhelming, disrupting all aspects of life, including family, work, finances and overall quality of life.

“It is vital for victims to hire an attorney when filing a personal injury claim, which allows them to negotiate with an insurance company on the behalf of a client,” Wright said. “Insurance companies often try to pressure victims to settle for a quick payout for far less than the case is worth. However, an attorney will vigorously advocate for their clients to ensure that they are treated with respect and compensated fairly.”
