ABILENE, TX – On Thursday, Feb.17, 2022, around 11:30 p.m. the Abilene Police Department responded to a car accident in the 5100 block of North First Street, where one man lost his life in the crash.
Reportedly, the Dodge Ram 1500 pickup was travelling east in the 5100 Block of North First, when it left the roadway and struck a tree.
The front seat passenger, a 50-year-old Billy Tullus of Abilene, died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, 39-year-old Michael Hagood, of Abilene, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation remains open about the accident.
