Abilene, TX – According to the statement, Flood Warnings and Flood Advisories were issued for areas around and north of I-20.
Water on roads was reported in Fisher County and street flooding occurred in Abilene.
Some residents reported water in their homes in the Potosi area in Taylor County.
Flooding of homes was also reported in Hamlin and Breckenridge.
The rainfall at Abilene Regional Airport was 3.56 inches.
This breaks the old record for the date of 2.24 inches set back in 1894.
