ABILENE, TX — The past weekend, a woman was arrested for a theft at the Family Dollar on 1210 N Mockingbird.
Reportedly, Jacqueline Gammage tried to steal several hair products by placing them in her reusable bag. When the assistant manager of the store confronted Jacqueline and tried to take back the products, she became physically aggressive and pushed her, threatened her and, allegedly, spit on her. She also broke the assistant manager’s watch during the fight.
Everything was captured on the surveillance video.
Gammage was found at her residence, where she admitted stealing the products as she couldn’t pay for them. She didn’t admit that she attacked the assistant manager at the store.
Gammage was arrested and booked to the Taylor County Jail. She is currently being held on a bond of $11,000.
