TEXAS – According to the police officials, the shooting occurred around 4:45 a.m. Friday.
It happened in the 6400 block of Rivertrail Circle in Arlington.
The responding officers discovered that the 911 caller had gone to the apartment to check on a family member and found the family member lying on the floor unresponsive.
The 911 caller identified the victim as 34-year-old Alphonso Lewis.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.
Investigators say foul play and believe that Lewis, who was the only resident of the apartment, may have been engaged in high risk activity.
