Looking to get some exercise this weekend?

You can take part in the Spring Mayor’s Hike Saturday morning.

It’ll be at 9 a.m. at the Cedar Creek Waterway.

It’s a free family event.

Leashed dogs are welcome, but you’re asked to leave strollers and bikes at home. It’s a three-mile trail that’s better suited for legs than wheels.

You don’t have to be there at 9 a.m.

Recycled water will be flowing all day, and you don’t have to walk all three miles. You can head back at any point.

The Cedar Creek Waterway is in the 100 block of E. South 11th Street in Abilene.
