ABILENE, TX — On Tuesday afternoon, the Abilene Fire Department responded to a massive house fire that spread to surrounding homes.

Three fire alarms went off in the 1100 block of Victoria Street around 4 p.m.

The whole house was caught in flames and the fire started spreading to the mobile home in the backyard. When the fire crews arrived, they couldn’t contain the fire, and it already spread to another property and involved four structures.

Reportedly, the fire started in a small travel trailer in the backyard, then caught the shop in the property next door, then another structure before igniting the house with the travel trailer.

Luckily, all the residents were evacuated safely and there are no injured.
