ABILENE, TX — The Abilene Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire at approximately 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8 in the 700 block of Rivercrest Drive.
According to an AFD release, crews arrived to find a single-family residence with smoke showing.
Crews quickly entered the structure, located the source and extinguished the fire.
There were no occupants in the home at the time of the fire, the release said.
The value of the damages is approximately $20,000
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
