Abilene, TX – According to the statement, this unfortunate incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.
When the Fire Department crew arrived on scene, they found a travel trailer and single family dwelling with fire and smoke showing.
The fire caused extensive damage to the travel trailer and the adjacent house.
The resident of the house was present at the time, but was able to get out without injury.
The American Red Cross was contacted and is helping the displaced residents.
The investigation is ongoing.
