Rapid spread of COVID-19 disrupts classes in Abilene ISD

Published

Another COVID-19 wave hit the teachers hard and closes The Abilene Independent School District (AISD) until Wednesday, Jan.19.

Most of their campuses are short on staff or substitutes in order to continue their classes, so online remote learning is out of the picture too.

This will not affect the sports and enrichment program and coaches and sponsors will stay in touch with the students.

Because of rising COVID-19 cases, loads of school districts are closing in Texas, while Wylie Independent School District said that they are still holding well and will be up and running.
